Good Morning,
The Last Mango fished again yesterday. His charter from Dartmouth, Mass fished again and had another great day. They managed to catch another sail and 3 nice dolphins. They spent their day to the north on the 43380 line by loran in 87 feet of water. Tris told me the pretty bluewater is pushing in on the offshore bar. There isn’t a clean edge, but the water has made a blended edge that the fish are on. He also reported a strong kingfish bite in 90 feet on the 43360 line. There was not much said about live bait.
Word has it that the fishing in the inlet was good yesterday. Some snook were caught and some whoppers were lost. Weapons of choice were MirrOLure plugs, Redtail Hawks, and livebait. Some trout have been reported from various locations around the area. Middle point to the south and Round Island to the north have produce small numbers of fish, but all were pretty good sized.
Have a good day, and good fishing!
Geoff
