Hey Everyone,
Not much has changed since yesterday. It was pretty rough and I don’t know of anyone who ventured offshore. I would imagine the fishing is pretty good however. We are going sailfishing on Thursday so we should have a better report then. The weather looks fish able tomorrow and really nice Thursday and Friday. Before the blow the fish were in the 130-185′ stuff both North and South of the inlet.
On the inshore front, we heard of some really nice sized trout in the 8 # class being released towards bear point. There were some other nice ones caught on the round island flat, and some lethargic reds were seen creeping the bottom. Pompano fishing should be really good this week. I heard of some on the St. Lucie Village flats as well as Bradley’s Reef. There have been a lot of snook caught at the bridges although many of them are below the slot. One more good cold snap and the bigger ones should roll in.
Have a good day, tomorrow should be a great day offshore so get out there and give it a go!
