Good morning,

Well I went offshore yesterday for the first time in a while.  We started off on the beach trying to tarpon fish but found a bunch of 72 degree water and figured it would be best to head off a piece.  (There was an abundance of bait on the beach however).  On the reef there were as many kingfish as you wanted to catch.  Past the reef we saw at least 35 free-jumping sails and managed to catch Bruddy Tyson his first one.  After we had our fill of live baiting we decided to hand line some Goliaths off of a wreck.  This is not recommended and is certainly not as fun as it looks on the short video link below.  All in all a great day offshore with PLENTY of action.

The red fishing is still great in the river.  With these extreme moon tides we have had low tide is a great time to fish for them because it confines them to cuts and potholes.  The snook fishing at night is still red hot!

Have a great day, here is the short clip from yesterdays fishing!
