Report Posted By: Donald Raffensberger White's Tackle
Location: Fort Pierce inshore/offshore

Good morning, from offshore yesterday finding dolphin, cobia, wahoo and the bottom dwellers remains a little slow. Fishing for kingfish however has pick up a little in the last couple of days. The bait pods have shown back up on the beach and around the buoys.

Inshore, snook and trout fishing remains good. Austin Doyle reported catching an 8 pound trout and a couple of snook wading in the lagoon late in the day on top water plugs. Other anglers are reporting good catches of trout on Bombers Badonk-A Donk top water baits in the bone color. Snook fishing remains strong in the evening in the inlet and around areas bridges. Try to get out early or late in the day to beat the heat.

Remember to get your bows tuned up in our archery department as archery seasons opens this year in zone A July 31 per the FWC web site:                       http:/myfwc.com/RECREATION/Hunt_SeasDates1011.htm

Have a great day, Donald.
