Report Posted By: Geoff Quatraro White's Tackle
Location: Fort Pierce inshore

Good morning, conditions remain cold offshore. The water on the bottom was reported, by one of our diver friends, to be 50 degrees.  That does not  usually make for great fishing, however t he sea surface temp out in 200 feet is a lot warmer and i think there should be some more pelagic fish around to strike a ballyhoo while trolling. The cold water has shut down all the live baiting inshore. It was 74 at the 10A buoy  yesterday.

As for inshore, there are some large snook lurking around the inlet and flats near the inlet. The first part of the incoming tide will proved the best opportunity for you to get a shot at a monster linesider. Swim baits, and top water plugs are the most productive lures next to live bait.

Good Luck,

Geoff
