Location: Fort Pierce inshore/offshore

Good morning,

It looks like yet another beautiful day!  After this slight bit of precipitation we will have a West wind for a couple of days.  The beach fishing should be o.k. as well as the surf fishing, and we are looking at 3-4's offshore for the weekend.  I haven't heard of anything too spectacular offshore, mainly scattered dolphins, some kings on the reef, and some decent bottom fishing (catch and release of course).  It's almost tuna time!  I think we are going to give it a run next week or the week after (weather dependent).

Inshore there are still some nice trout in the 2' and shallower depths.  Mark Dravo has been reporting some good redfishing action to the North with some fish in the top of the slot.  Live shrimp and Gulp Shrimp on a jig head up in the mangroves have been the best bet.

Have a great weekend, and enjoy the weather!
