Good frigid morning,

Well today opens the first day of the Pelican Billfish Tournament.  I must honestly say I have never been so happy to not be fishing!!!  On the bright side, those who pre-fished the last few days saw a tremendous amount of sails so hopefully they will do great.  Good luck to everyone fishing!

Inshore, we haven't heard much since the weather got so cold.  We did hear of some nice pompano being caught to the South towards the power lines and some flounder in the inlet.  Other than that it's probably pretty slow with the water temp. in the fifties.
