Good Morning,
There have been a few Sailfish caught out of Stuart this past week but there hasn’t been to much to report. The Cobia have started showing up on the beaches. The best time to target them is in the morning with Cobia jigs, or the new Hogy sand eels. It is going to be windy and rough the next few days and fishing doesn’t look too promising.
Inshore there have been a bunch of Pompano in Herman’s bay. You can pick up a few Bonefish and Sheepeshead in Stuart and Ft Pierce on the channel ledges with live Shrimp on a 1/4oz jig head bouncing the bottom. There has been a lot of big Snook on the flats in Ft Pierce and Vero, Find the warmer shallow water and they should be layed up facing the current. From Queens cove all the water to hole in the wall in Vero there have been redfish and big Trout on the spoil islands. 3″ Doa shad tails with a 1/8oz jig head have produced the best.
